If you watch the Kovarik bike check video he says that he's running the Hayes brakes for testing to help them out. Races a bit on them and reports back, but yes he and the rest of the team have Ones too.

Well, water can't really be compressed, so the lever feel isn't spongy at all, and water bleeds have faster rebound as well, so the brake can be on/off quite quickly! That and it's pretty easy to bleed with water, just toss the whole system in a bucket of water, open the bleed valves, and pull the lever a few times!

Yeah...you can bleed some brakes with water, depends what the insides are like. If there's anything that will corrode, or if the seals are crappy, it wont work. It works great with Magura hs-33 brakes though...

right, but whats that got to do with my photo, of Steve Peat on his Final run at the 2007 world champs, he as did all the other riders had other runs and this was the final run on the sunday, the run that counts, and even though he had a crash at the start and lost his seat, he still went on to do his run. any how, do you like the photo, i do hope so as it was a cold and wet afternoon up on that mountain when i took it. i know its not to sharp or bright but it was a shit house day dark and wet.

yeah im running high rollers so they keep the weight down a bit and i use a funn direct mount stem which weighs nothing really.

chrissss13 wrote
March 17, 2008 at 9:20
awesome! i love mine.. rides really well. i think tires, bars and stem would make a big difference in weight for a small price.

the glory weighs about 40 - 43 lbs.. which isnt bad for a glory as they usually weigh a tone! the rims are 32 hole 721's which are awesome and very strong. cheers
